We understand that you may not be able to use your test right now, in line with the Government directive to stay at home.
Under normal circumstances, our terms and conditions explain that you have 6 months to use your test. This is the service contract for your test, and depending on the type of test, the kit itself may expire, which means results may not be accurate. We understand that due to the current coronavirus situation, you may not be able to use the test within the normal time frame. We have a few options to help you with this.
Many of our tests can be completed at home with finger prick test kits, and this means you can then pop your sample into a postbox to return it safely to the lab. If you want to switch your test please get in touch and we will help you to do this.
Alternatively, you might want to wait until it is safe to visit a clinic or have a nurse visit you at home. In this situation, we will support you by providing a new kit, once you are no longer self-isolating and it is safe to do so. We will be flexible with the test validity period if needed, but may need to send you a new test kit out (as the test kits can expire, and then impact on results accuracy).
