Your sample envelope has a tracked returns label on it and is designed to be posted back to us in a postbox, so you do not have to go to a Post Office.
For any Coronavirus test samples, the Royal Mail requires the sample return envelope to state on it 'COVID-19' and this MUST be posted in a Royal Mail priority postbox. The priority postboxes are collected regularly, and the Royal Mail staff have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in order to be able to safely handle these. You should not put this in any other post boxes, or attempt to take this to a Post Office: The Royal Mail may not deliver this if posted in a normal post box, and will not accept this in a Post Office. If your priority Post Box listed is a Post Office, you should use the post box located outside of this.
In rare circumstances, your priority post box may be a Post Office that does not have a post box located outside of it, and in this instance you will need to use an alternative Priority post box.
You can find your nearest priority postbox here.
For all other Medichecks (Non-coronavirus) samples that are being returned, we recommend that you also use a priority post box, to prevent delays in your sample reaching our labs. The priority post boxes are collected from regularly.
