Which laboratory will test my sample?

We work with three UK laboratories: Eurofins Clinical Diagnostics, Inuvi, and The Doctor's Laboratory.

All three of our partner labs are fully accredited and committed to the highest clinical standards. They go through regular inspections by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), internal quality control (IQC), and external quality assurance (EQA). 

What is EQA and IQC?

EQA is where an external company runs and compares the results of multiple labs to check they are returning them within the expected range. IQC are the internal quality control processes that labs follow.

We also analyse samples sent to our partner labs to check they meet the high standards Medichecks requires to provide a quality service.

How do I know which lab will get my sample?

Our team will allocate your order to one of the labs during dispatch. We will provide the correct envelope in your kit so you can send your sample directly to the laboratory.

Occasionally, more than one lab will analyse your results if your order contains numerous tests for separate laboratories. In this case, you will get multiple envelopes and clear instructions on which sample goes to which laboratory. 

Can I request a specific laboratory for my results?

We work collaboratively with our partner laboratories to provide consistent and quality services. Laboratories analyse tests based on capacity, timings, and expertise. Therefore, we cannot guarantee a change or specific laboratory request at an individual test level.
