We offer the option to self-arrange your own venous sample collection. This option may be suitable for you if you already have identified a private nurse or phlebotomy clinic that exists outside of our Partner Clinic network, and you’d like to use these for your blood draw.
Qualified medical professionals include doctors, nurses, health practitioners, or any other professional qualified in phlebotomy.
If you have a friend or family member that is qualified to draw blood, this is acceptable for your Medichecks blood test. However, it is important that blood samples are taken at licensed premises. If you are in any doubt about whether the premises you are visiting are insured, please ask the medical provider to confirm this information.
When you choose to self-arrange a professional sample collection at checkout, we’ll send you a venous sample collection kit for your blood draw. Please note that you’re accepting responsibility for arranging your own blood draw.
You are free to upgrade to one of our phlebotomy options at any time. Simply contact the Customer Care Team if you wish to do this.
