We recommend that some of our tests are taken at specific times of the day for best results. This is because the levels of some biomarkers (such as hormones) can fluctuate during the day, often peaking in the mornings.
If these recommendations apply to your tests, you’ll find these details in your ‘Order Complete’ email, which is sent when your test kit is dispatched.
If you are struggling to get an appointment within these times, please follow the instructions below:
If you plan to visit a Partner Clinic:
- Your test is valid for 120 days from the date of purchase, so you can wait for a suitable early appointment to become available.
- You can explore other clinics in your area using our Clinic Finder. You can freely book with another clinic if the availability is more suitable to you; your clinic voucher is valid for any of our partner clinics.
- You can upgrade to a nurse home visit. This visit would cost £59. However, if you have already paid for a £35 clinic visit, you will only pay the £24 difference. Please contact our Customer Care Team to upgrade.
- If you know a qualified professional who can take your sample, or you prefer to use a private phlebotomist outside our network, you can switch to arranging your own sample collection.
If you are arranging a nurse home visit
- If the home nurse visit provider is unable to accommodate your appointment preferences, your test is valid for 120 days from the date of purchase. Therefore, you are able to wait until there is an earlier appointment available.
- You can downgrade your sample collection to visit one of our partner clinics. If you would like to do this, please contact the Customer Care Team first. They can provide you with the clinic voucher you will need.
- Alternatively, you can arrange your own sample collection with a qualified professional outside our network.
If you selected “Make own arrangements”:
- You can upgrade to a clinic visit or a nurse home visit for your blood sample collection
- Clinic visit upgrades are £35, and nurse home visit upgrades are £59.
- Please contact our Customer Care Team if you wish to upgrade.
