Your sample collection kit will contain everything a qualified phlebotomist will need to draw your blood.
It will also include a return envelope and a postage label, pre-addressed and pre-paid for the correct laboratory. This is concealed in the medical compartment of your test kit, and will be opened by the phlebotomist at the time of your blood draw.
The clinic will take your sample and assist with the labelling and packaging of the sample. However, the clinic will not be able to post your sample for you, and they will hand your sample back to you to do so.
You’ll then need to post it to our laboratory by using a Royal Mail post box. We recommend you post this Monday-Thursday to ensure that this reaches out lab promptly.
If you have arranged a nurse home visit, your home nurse can help you post the sample to our laboratory.
