I’m not sure I have enough blood in my finger-prick sample tube. Should I send it?

For most finger-prick tests, you should fill the sample tube to the second of the two marked lines.

If you've filled the tube more than halfway, it could be worth sending your sample if you'd like to. The laboratory may still be able to test it.

If the laboratory can't process your sample, they'll let us know. We'll then arrange a replacement test for any markers they couldn't analyse.

If you'd rather not send the sample, you can dispose of it safely and let us know. We'll arrange to send you a new sample collection kit so you can try again.
