Why do I need to provide information about my periods?

To help our doctors provide comments and advice we require you to provide some additional information about your menstrual cycle, including the first day of your last period.

The first day is classed as the first day of bleeding of your new cycle. We ask women this question so we can provide the correct reference range for the hormone markers, including the phase of your cycle.

This should be completed as soon as you collect and post your sample. If this isn’t provided, your results will not be delayed, but your results may be given to you without a reference range.

If you have already provided your Supporting Information for this test, you will not need to do anything further, and you will receive an email as soon as your results are ready to view.
